Our ANNUAL Meet & Greet Event

Who is Invited?

All residents and landowners of Vulcan County are warmly invited to attend our annual Social Meet & Greet hosted by the Vulcan Area Public Petroleum Association (VAPPA. Our 2026 event was held on  on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Nine in a Line, Vulcan, Alberta. If you missed our 2026 event, watch for information about our next Meet & Greet in February 2027!


VAPPA is an advocacy association representing landowners and residents of Vulcan County. This Meet & Greet is an opportunity to bring our community together in a relaxed, welcoming setting to connect, share perspectives, and strengthen local relationships.

Why attend this annual event?

  By attending, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Network and engage with Town and County Administrators and fellow community members
  • Learn about industry insights that affect  Vulcan County
  • Discuss current issues impacting      landowners and residents
  • Speak directly with VAPPA members about      their leadership and advocacy work
  • Learn how VAPPA supports the Vulcan County  4-H District

Who is VAPPA?

  VAPPA originated as an advocacy association when the oil and gas industry first entered the area, representing landowners and residents. It continues to provide a forum for the public and industry to engage in a positive way involving issues that affect Vulcan County.

Participation in events like this helps build leadership capacity, elevate shared expertise, and strengthen professional credibility—while ensuring our community’s voice remains informed and engaged.
